Yes. you can join the course unless and until you are a patient of a certain disease where it restricts physical practices.

We are here with our expertise to train any kind of body condition. We help our students to attain high flexibility in both body and mind

We have faculties with multi linguistic skills. Generally, Hindi or English are common languages in our classes. Or, in worse scenarios, if anyone with English or Hindi understanding skills can learn in our class. Above all,  you are learning yoga, yoga itself is a language, universal language.

To ensure the quality of learning and teaching we will only have 15 to 20 students in each class.

You are not supposed to miss even a  single class unless you have such an emergency which is explained to us and if we feel it is genuine. We will support you regarding the missed classes through assignments and extra few hours training to make up with the rest of the batch.

In Yoga TTC,  we are teaching a holistic subject which has a close connection to physiology, and to spirituality.

 

As we understand the seriousness of the quality of our students, who are going to be the future teachers, we provide proper training with skilled observation, awareness and deep subject knowledge.

 

We have written, oral and practical examinations and demo classes through which we evaluate and certify our future yoga teachers.

 

This could look very difficult for everyone but if you attend our program with full dedication you will only have success.

Our programs are designed and executed in such a way, through years of our teachers’ experience and innovative training methods that we can assure you only success provided you have attended all the classes with dedication.

We have final written, oral, practical examinations and demo classes through which we evaluate our future yoga teachers. We also evaluate their performance, attendance throughout the course/ training.

 

In case  you do not meet the criteria of examination standards you will only be awarded with certificate of attendance upon your course completion.

Yes, we provide TTC syllabus, study materials, text and notes  as required for this course.

Yes, our institution is a Yoga Alliance USA registered yoga school and you will have international recognition with our certification.

Yes, we have two types of internship programmes. You will only be considered for this after completion of 500 hrs of TTC with us.

General

All meals are included during your stay. We have in-house kitchen and we serve yogic food which suits international as well as Indian students.

 

But it is important that you notify us in advance should you have any food restrictions or allergies or health conditions or any special conditions that are unusual.

 

Accommodation is also included depending upon the type of accommodation (single or shared etc) you have chosen and paid for.

No, there are no religious barriers. All are welcome.

Rishikesh  is well connected by rail, road and air. Dehradun International Airport is about 35 kms away from Rishikesh. Rishikesh is well connected by bus from Delhi, Dehradun and Haridwar.

Yes. We would be happy to book an airport pick-up for a charge from Dehradun airport as well as Delhi airport.

Under the immigration laws of India Indian e-visa and tourist visas allow, inter alia, attending short term yoga courses. You cannot get a student visa for short term courses.

 

E-visa can be applied for online. Persons holding e-visa are allowed entry into India through designated international airports in India. That includes Delhi  International Airport. For most of the countries e-visa is valid for 60 days and multiple entry tourist visa for a period starting from 6 months and more depending on the country of nationality. E-visa allows double entry.

For some ceremonies you may need to wear white and orange. For the rest of the course, comfortable clothing is recommended.

Yes, each room has hot water and electricity. But it may be remembered that power cuts are quite common in India. So expect occasional power outages.

You should avoid drinking tap water anywhere in India. However, at Conscious Yoga  we provide filtered water at all times through the specific taps marked “Drinking Water” connected to the centralized water purification plant. Such drinking water taps are available at several locations including in your accommodation block, Bhojanshala (canteen). It is pure and safe to drink but, at your discretion. Bottled/packaged water can be purchased from us or locally.

We serve vegetarian (plant and dairy based) food. Such a diet benefits the environment, the animals and also our own health. We encourage all yoga practitioners and students to follow this diet while they stay with us. In line with yogic principles, we do not allow meat/fish/seafood/eggs to be cooked or consumed in the facility. Should you wish to eat different food, there are restaurants in the neighborhood serving all kinds of cuisine. 

Please let us know at the time of booking and upon arrival of your specific dietary requirements and allergies. We can cater for different dietary needs. 

Yes, but please be aware that the internet connection in our area can be slow and drops sometimes. This is a good opportunity to practice  patience and acceptance.

All rooms are provided with closets and drawers that can be locked.  However, you are suggested to lock your rooms whenever you are out and have appropriate travel insurance for your belongings.

We do provide laundry service through a third-party agency for a small charge.

There are local shops available at a walking distance storing most of the items you require. Packaged branded items can be purchased from them.

Branch of State Bank of India and other bank ATMs are walking distance away. 

During the months of January, February and December you are most likely to experience good weather with pleasant average temperatures that fall between 20 degrees Celsius (68°F) and 25 degrees Celsius (77°F).

 

The hottest season / summer is in April, May, June, July, August, September and October.

 

A lot of rain (rainy season) falls in the months of: June, July, August and September.

 

The warmest month is May with an average maximum temperature of 36°C (96°F).

 

The coldest month is January with an average maximum temperature of 20°C (68°F).

 

August is the wettest month. This month should be avoided if you are not a big fan of rain.

 

November is the driest month.

Shoes for outdoors activities and flip-flops for indoors, moisturizers, body oil and conditioner as per the individual requirements, you can get most of these things in Tirupati. In case you are fond of a particular brand, bring it with you. Bug spray, hygiene articles, hand sanitizer, a mobile phone – you can have an Indian Number while staying for the course or traveling in India, will be helpful. In case of small cuts or bruises you may wish to bring an antiseptic spray or cream, things like some essential oils may be useful too, alarm clock (unless you use your mobile), adaptor plug, anti diarrhoea medication as a precaution, a torch will be useful (power cuts in India are the part of life and the streets are also not well enough lit at night as in the west).
